I have been in love with Canberra

I enjoyed reading Patrick Walters’ beautifully written obituary for Ann Moyal which was recently published in the Canberra Times. It started with Ann’s own words which made me smile. Sharing them here for you to enjoy as well.

I have been in love with Canberra for over sixty years. Its parched landscape, its ring of deep blue mountains etched against an iridescent sky, its light and calming beauty and the fiery brilliance of its autumn days colour my mind and spirit and anchor me firmly in this beautiful place.
